First off, let’s talk about a long-awaited return that’s got everyone buzzing: the Farmers Market is coming back to Santini Plaza this year! Yes, you heard it right! If you would like more information visit: www.41markets.com.
Santini Plaza is not just a shopping plaza. It’s a place we connect, share stories, and support our island residents and visitors year after year. The heart of our community is about to beat a little louder with local farmers market food, crafts, and products that our Ft. Myers Beach community has all been missing.
Bridging Progress: South Bridge Construction
But wait, there’s more! Let’s not forget the big one: the construction of the Big Carlos Pass Bridge on the south end of the island. It’s well underway, a testament to progress and a smoother journey for all of us eager to explore every nook and cranny of this beautiful island. It’s not just a bridge; it’s a lifeline that connects us to new adventures and cherished memories.
The old bridge will remain in place until the new one is completed. We don’t have a completion date yet, but we do know that the new bridge will be a fixed bridge (not a draw bridge) with a 60′ clearance (for you boaters out there), one travel lane in each direction, bike lanes & sidewalks.
