After a challenging 2-year period, Santini Plaza on Ft. Myers Beach is making incredible strides towards all business locations fully reopening its doors. With all lease spaces now filled except for one, we are on the cusp of a vibrant resurgence of local businesses and services. The Plaza is gearing up to offer a robust mix of shops, dining, and services, and we’re so excited to share the latest updates.
Current Businesses Now Open and Welcoming Visitors
We’re thrilled to announce that several beloved businesses are already back in action, offering a range of services and products for residents and visitors alike. Right now, you can enjoy the following businesses:
- Leanis Swim and Casualwear – Dive into the missy swimwear, resort and casual styles serving Ft. Myers Beach since 1977.
- The Islander – Local favorites for the perfect boutique with exclusive ladies’ resort apparel and gift shop.
- Anette’s Book Nook – A perfect stop for book lovers of all ages.
- Surf Style – Your go-to for beach essentials and fun accessories.
- Island Liquor– Stocking your favorite spirits and beverages.

All of the above businesses are open and ready to serve, providing a wonderful mix of shopping, leisure, and essentials.
What is coming Next?
Sweet Licks Ice Cream: Sweet Licks, the new ice cream shop, is gearing up for its grand opening – the contractor say by February 15th. Is this a contractor completion date or a ready to serve ice cream date? Stay tuned if you’re a fan of indulgent treats and refreshing frozen delights, you won’t want to miss out when they open their doors!
